Position Summary:

The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of video, audio, and graphics editing, and be skilled in every step of the process, from concept to final deliverable. They will work independently as well as cooperatively with other members of Sport & Story to meet deadlines and produce content that meets and exceeds the expectations.

The Remote Editor will:

Edit creative, original and compelling short and long-form stories for multiple properties and clients.
Perform detailed post-production work, including video editing, color correction, motion graphics, special effects, and final rendering.
Produce and edit original podcasts, including audio editing and sweetening.
Create reusable assets and templates to facilitate and reduce production times.
Work with Sport & Story team members to brainstorm concepts.
Ensure timely delivery of final content, formatted and optimized for various platforms and channels.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years of related experience
Strong story development skills.
Advanced knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro
Extensive knowledge in the technical production requirements of motion graphics and editing.
A deep understanding of storytelling through motion graphics, video, and music/audio.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and work under time pressure deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly communicate plans and solutions.
